Dr Sylvia Ross
Dr Sylvia Ross is a dedicated medical professional with over a decade of experience in the field of women’s health. She is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG) and currently in the final stage of completing her Certificate of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), a highly competitive program producing board-certified subspecialists in infertility. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences, majoring in reproduction and development, and a postgraduate diploma in Obstetrics and Medical Gynaecology.
Specialising in infertility treatment, Sylvia supports individuals and couples navigating a wide range of reproductive challenges. Her areas of expertise include the management of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), ovulation induction, in vitro fertilization (IVF), and fertility-related surgical interventions. Her approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and highly individualised—ensuring her patients feel empowered and informed every step of the way.
Dr Rebecca Mackenzie-Proctor
Dr Rebecca Mackenzie-Proctor is a passionate fertility specialist and Obstetrician-Gynaecologist (FRANZCOG) with over a decade of experience in women’s health. She is in the final stages of completing her Certificate of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), the highest level of subspecialist training in fertility. Originally from New Zealand, she now works at Life Fertility in Melbourne, a boutique doctor-led fertility clinic.
Rebecca has extensive experience managing complex fertility and gynaecological issues, including endometriosis, PCOS, ovarian insufficiency, and male infertility. She is a skilled laparoscopic surgeon with a particular interest in male fertility procedures such as microscopic sperm retrieval (Micro-TESE, TESE). Her fertility services include ovulation induction, IUI, and IVF, delivered with a personalised and evidence-based approach.
Beyond clinical practice, Rebecca brings a holistic lens to her care, with additional training in Ayurveda, yoga, sports medicine, and nutrition. She has contributed to research across Australasia and the UK, and outside of work enjoys time in nature with her partner and two young children.
Dr. Devini Ameratunga
Dr Devini Ameratunga is a double-board-certified Fertility Specialist (CREI) and Gynecologist, known for her expertise in both general and complex fertility care. She is one of only a handful of CREI-qualified specialists in Queensland, and the first female in the State to qualify for both CREI and a Surgical Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy.
Devini’s clinical interests include IVF, fertility preservation, pregnancy loss, PCOS, and minimally invasive surgery for conditions like endometriosis and fibroids. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine with First Class Honours and a Master’s in Reproductive Medicine (awarded with excellence), and trained at leading institutions including the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne.
In addition to her private practice, Devini works as a Staff Specialist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, where she leads the Fertility Preservation service and teaches as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. She is also active in research, publication, and training programs for GPs and junior doctors.
